Welcome to our family house by the sea
Borovik Guest House is a small, family-run retreat on the Makarska Riviera where genuine hospitality, quiet surroundings and home-style cooking come together. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel less like a hotel guest and more like a friend of the family, with hosts who are always happy to help with local recommendations, arrival times or simply a friendly conversation.
The house sits above the bay with wide views over the sea, and many rooms open onto spacious balconies that are especially pleasant in the morning and in the evening. The beach is a short walk away, the neighbourhood is peaceful and away from the crowds, and free private parking on site makes the guest house a comfortable base for exploring the whole coast.
Facilities and comforts
Every room has a private bathroom with bath or shower, free toiletries, towels and linen, air conditioning and heating, a fan, a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe, a seating area, a sofa bed, a socket near the bed and a private entrance on the ground floor, with free WiFi throughout the house. Outside there is a sun terrace, garden, patio, outdoor furniture and dining area, an outdoor fireplace and barbecue facilities, a bar and coffee house, a shared lounge, and free private parking that needs no reservation. The house is non-smoking, pet friendly at no extra charge, wheelchair accessible, and offers family rooms, kids' meals, packed lunches, private check-in, laundry, car and bicycle rental, currency exchange and a shuttle service on request; payment is in cash only.
Rooms
Three simple, clean and comfortable room types, all with private bathroom, air conditioning, free WiFi and a private ground-floor entrance. Balcony rooms look out over the sea and the bay.
Restaurant Borovik
Food is one of the highlights of a stay with us. Our family restaurant has been serving guests for over 50 years, with fresh seafood, Croatian and European home cooking and dishes from the barbecue grill, all in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere on the terrace.
Breakfast is generous and freshly prepared, with continental, Italian, vegetarian and gluten-free options, and half-board guests choose each evening between fish and meat dishes. Vegan and dairy-free meals and other special diets are prepared on request, and there is a bar, a coffee house, fruit, wine and packed lunches for days out.

Check-in is from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM and check-out from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM; please let us know your expected arrival time in advance. Children of all ages are welcome and children aged 6 and above are charged as adults, while cribs and extra beds are not available. Pets stay free of charge, all rooms are non-smoking, and the property accepts cash payments only.
